Rugby Citizens Advice Bureau (BRANCAB)

Money Mentors at Rugby CAB

Julie Enefer

I started working at Rugby CAB in 2018 initially as a volunteer.  In 2019 I was employed as an outreach worker, delivering advice sessions at the Rugby Children and Family Centres. In March 2022 I began my role as a Money Mentor for the Breakthrough Project. For the previous 12 months, I delivered a joint project between CAB and Rugby Foodbank. The experience gained from working on these projects is proving to be invaluable in supporting clients through the Breakthrough Project. It is particularly rewarding to be able to work continuously with clients to overcome any barriers in their lives and to progress.

Sarah Malone

I have been involved with BRANCAB for over 15 years in various roles such as admin, volunteer generalist adviser and more recently in financial capability and debt.

I find working with people in my local community rewarding and I especially enjoy my current role as a Breakthrough Money Mentor. I am able to support clients on a 1-2-1 basis to help them overcome any difficulties they may be facing and ultimately to move forward with their lives.

What People Say...

Since starting Breakthrough I have been able to understand my benefits more clearly, gain confidence in myself to ask for help when I need it. I am now in a permanent part-time job.
